About Joshua James

Joshua James (Joshua James Lucero) is a former staff writer and photographer for the Portales News-Tribune and the Clovis News Journal (Now combined as the Eastern New Mexico News), with 5 years experience freelancing before accepting a staff position for the newspapers parent corporation, Clovis Media Inc (CMI).

While at the newspaper Joshua was awarded the employee of the year award within 8 months of his hire date for his work and dedication to pursuing stories that affect the eastern New Mexico community. 

In addition to being published by CMI and its affiliates, Joshua's work has also been published in the Pushitastop bmx photography zine "Variables", the Albuquerque Journal newspaper, the Eastern New Mexico University literature and arts journal "El Portal, as well as photo features on ridebmx.com and the thecomeup.com.

Lucero is now based in Denver, CO where he is a photographer for Schomp Automotive and freelances for Sports Fanatic Photography.
